With this increase, the price of electricity in the wholesale market this Friday will be more than 10 euros higher than today Thursday, when it is at 141.71 euros / MWh, according to data from the market operator OMIE.
By time slots , the price will not drop at any time from 146.29 euros, which is the one that will be paid between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., while the most expensive cost will be borne from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., when the MWh will be paid at 159.31 euros.
Energy companies advocate reviewing the regulated tariff
Iberdrola and Endesa have urged the Government to modify the regulated electricity tariff so that it is not affected by fluctuations in the wholesale market (pool), in addition to pointing out natural gas as directly responsible for the high electricity prices.
